Former prime minister John Howard has mirrored on the life and instances of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – saying she had an incredible sense of humour and a “deep curiosity” about Australia.
“She understood completely different options of Australian life,” Mr Howard stated.
Queen Elizabeth II, Britain’s longest-serving monarch, has died on the age of 96.
“Deep down, she was an individual who took very significantly her position because the Queen of the UK and her different realms and territories and as head of the Commonwealth,” he stated.
“And he or she at all times revered that it was a Constitutional position.”
