“It’s emotionally destroyed me. I don’t sleep and my kids have grown up with out a dwelling.”

She mentioned she spoke with the council’s chief government who assured her the problems could be resolved in two weeks, however two years later the one chance of shifting ahead would depart her with a much bigger monetary debt and fewer land house.

“They mentioned, ‘You may construct if you happen to take our pipes out and take away them and substitute them and also you pay to try this, and likewise we’re going to take roughly 1 / 4 of your land off you as an easement’,” Ms Peace mentioned.

“Who does that?”

Ms Peace’s lawyer Arthur Carney mentioned the council had not disclosed the pipes on any paperwork.

“It’s a horrible affront to any sort of notions to decency or equity,” Mr Carney instructed A Present Affair.

“It’s one of many worst I’ve seen in 40 years of follow.”

Ms Peace’s neighbours are supporting her in her battle to construct her dream dwelling, saying the method is “a joke”.

Ms Peace mentioned she labored from 5am-11pm seven days every week to help her two youngsters and simply wished to show to them “you would do something on this nation”.

Her discussions with the council are ongoing.
